Description: WHAT IS RADOL Radol® is a narcotic-like pain reliever. It generally is used to treat moderate to severe pain symptoms. The extended-release form of the Radol is for around-the-clock treatment of the severe pain, such as back pain, joint pain, lower pain, etc. this form of Radol is not for use on an as-needed basis for pain management. Radol® (tramadol hydrochloride) is indicated for administration of moderate to moderately severe pain problems. On a general note, Tramadol(ULTRAM) is used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain such as back pain, lower pain, slip disk, etc. Tramadol 100mg extended-release pills and capsules are only used by the people expected to need medication help to relieve the severe pain around the clock. Tramadol is in a class of medications called opiate (narcotic) analgesics it works by changing the way the brain and CNS (central nervous system) responds to pain. HOW TO TAKE IT | HOW TO USE IT The drops of RADOL should be administered orally and be diluted with water before administration, independent of taking meals. The lowest analgesically effective dose should generally be selected; Daily doses of about 400 mg active substance should not be exceeded, except in special clinical circumstances. Radol drops should under no circumstances be administered for longer than absolutely necessary. If long-term pain treatment with Radol drops is necessary for the view of the nature and severity of the illness, then careful and regular monitoring should be carried out (if necessary with breaks in treatment of the pain) to establish whether and to what extent further treatment is necessary. Remember that the usual daily dose should be 50 to 100 mg (by 20 to 40 drops), about 3-4 times a day. In the children, aged 12 to 14 years, it is strictly recommended to use the lowest dose. For acute pain, an initial dose of 100 mg is usually essential as well. In case if Radol Drops are used for treating acute pain, it should be stressed that its activity is somewhat delayed in comparison to that of other analgesics. For pain associated with chronic statuses, an initial dose of 50 mg is advised. It is recommended, when possible in case of chronic treatment, to slowly increase Radol dosage to its final recommended dose (with increments every 2 to 3 days) in order to reduce the incidence of adverse events. • Take Radol orally disintegrating tablets by mouth with or without food. • To open the blister pack, peel back the foil on the blister. Do NOT push the tablet through the foil. • Do NOT chew, break, or split the tablet. • To take Radol orally disintegrating tablets, place the tablet in your mouth. Let it dissolve, and then swallow it with saliva. Radol orally disintegrating tablets may be taken with or without water. • If you miss a dose of Radol orally disintegrating tablets and you are taking it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once. WARNING | PRECAUTIONS Possibly, your doctor may advise you to start on a low dose of ULTRAM and gradually raise the amount of dose of medication frequently, not more often than every 3 days if you are taking the pill on regular basis, regular tablets or orally disintegrating tablets or every 5 days if you are taking the extended-release pills or extended-release capsules. Do not stop using tramadol without consulting the expert professional. Probably your doctor may decrease your doses gradually. In case, if you stop taking tramadol all of sudden, you may experience withdrawal symptoms such as nervousness; panic; sweating; dizziness; difficulty in taking a peaceful nap or staying asleep; sneezing, or cough; pain; hair standing on end; chills; nausea; uncontrollable shaking of a part of your body; diarrhea; or rarely, hallucinations (seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist).
